This is a simple recipe for a grownup version of chocolate pudding thats is a great dessert to have 24/7 Ingredients 1 cup of chocolate chips 1/4 cup of egg substitute 1/2 tsp of vanilla 3/4 cup of half and half Instructions 1. In a blender combine the chocolate chips, egg substitute and vanilla. 2. Now scald half and half in a medium saucepan just until bubbles form around the edge. 3. Pour the cream over the chip mixture. 4. Blend on liquefy for 20-25 seconds or until smooth. 5. Pour the chocolate mixture into 4 small cups. 6. Ingredients 2/3 cup of butter or margarine, softened 2/3 cup of brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 cups of Old fashioned oats 1 1/2 cups of flour 1 tsp of baking soda 1/2 tsp of salt 1 bag of sweetened dried cranberries (6 oz) 2/3 cup of chocolate chips 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. 2. In a stand mixer, beat the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Then add eggs and scrape the bowl mixing well. 3. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt, cranberries, white chocolate chips, and walnuts. 4. Drop rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 5. Pat them down with your fingers or the back of a spoon. 6. Now bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. 2007-11-30T22:24:37.000Z

Instructions 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil 2 tbsp of ginger, peeled and chopped 1 large onion, chopped 3 tbsp of chili powder 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 8 oz can of crushed pineapple with its juice 1 28 oz can of tomatoes with their puree, crushed 1/3 cup of ketchup 1/4 cup of cider vinegar 3 tbsp of dark brown sugar 3 tbsp of light molasses 2 tsp of dry mustard 1 tsp of salt Instructions 1. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a 5-6 quart stockpot until hot. 2. Add the ginger and onion and cook until the onion is golden and tender, about 10 minutes. 3. Add the chili powder and cook, stirring, for about 1 minute. 4. Add the garlic and pineapple and cook for 1 minute longer. 5. Remove from the heat and stir in the crushed tomatoes, ketchup, cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, dry mustard, and salt. 6. Puree the sauce with an immersion blender until smooth. 7. Return the saucepot to the heat and bring to a boil over high. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce reduces to about 5 cups-about 25 minutes. 2008-05-23T18:00:14.000Z

Ingredients 1 cup of flour 2 tsp of sugar 1/4 tsp of salt 1/4 cup of well chilled butter 1 tbsp of well chilled shortening 1 egg yolk 2 tbsp of water Instructions 1. Combine flour, sugar and salt in a food processor. 2. Next, add well chilled butter and shortening. 3. Pulse 3-4 times for 2-3 seconds each time, until crumbly. 4. In a small bowl, blend the egg yolk and water. 5. Pour over the flour mixture in the food processor and pulse 2-4 times, for 2-3 seconds each time, until the mixture pulls away from the sides of the bowl and clings together. 6. How-to make sugar cookies. This is a simple recipe for sugar cookies that you can make all year round as a dessert or just a sweet treat. Ingredients 2 sticks of softened butter 1 1/2 cups of confectioners sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp of almond extract 1 egg 3 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp of baking soda 1 tsp of cream of tartar 1/4 tsp of salt Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 375 F. 2. In a large bowl combine softened butter, confectioners sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and egg and blend together. 3. In a second medium bowl add flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt and whisk. 4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. 5. Stir just to combine. 6. Divide dough in half. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 7. On a lightly floured surface, roll each half to 1/4 inch thickness. 8. Cut the cookies into your desired shapes with cookie cutters. 9. Place them on lightly oiled or parchment paper lined baking sheets. Separate them by about 1 inch. 10. Next, sprinkle the shapes with granulated or colored sugar. 11. Bake at 375 F for 7-8 minutes, until edges are light brown. 12. Remove from baking sheets to cool on wire racks. 2007-11-30T22:05:27.000Z
